Event alert: Student recital 23 March 2024

Justin McKee, MJ Piano Lessons teacher warmly invites students and their guests to experience an afternoon filled with musical magic on Saturday 23rd March 2024.


Sharing your music with others is an act of kindness that deserves to be showcased on stage. Don't let this incredible opportunity to play for others slip away!


Event details

Date: Saturday, 23rd March 2024.


Performance Time Options: Students have elected to perform at 1:15pm, 2:15pm, 3:15pm or 4:15pm and have had this confirmed by email.

What: Students will have the opportunity to play 'performance ready' pieces of their choice on a brand new grand piano recently donated by Kawai.


Who: Students and their guests are invited to enjoy this experience. The venue has scaffolded seating for 50 people, so if each family aims for 3-6 people in total, we should be OK for numbers. Standing room will be an option too!


Location: Chippen Street Theatre, 45 Chippen Street, Chippendale. Chippen Street Theatre is home to the annual Sydney Eisteddfod. Transport and parking info below.



Dress code: No dress code! Be yourself and get excited to share your music with a friendly and supportive crowd. 


Transport and parking: Please allow plenty of time to arrive to the venue and check ahead for information about planned track work, road closures etc.

The venue is within walking distance from Redfern station (closest) and nearby bus stops.

There is metered parking immediately out front of the venue. Paid parking stations exist around the nearby Central Park mall, information has been provided by the mall here. You may also be lucky enough to nab some free parking in the surrounding streets.
